"Your Love" is a song I wrote in memory of my grandma, Nanay Rosa Dime Francisco, who just passed away.

It’s never easy losing someone you love.  It grieves me that I wasn’t able to spend more time with her or even get to say goodbye. Yet, my heart rejoices knowing that she is with Jesus.  I am so honoured and blessed to have known such a woman of great faith, courage and love.  Her love was so contagious that it captured the hearts of many people.  This song is about that love, that she has graciously taught me through her life.  My heart can rejoice yet again for beautiful and purposed filled life she has lived.

I love you, Nay.  Thank you for everything.

Your Love (A Song For Nanay) - Nessa Rica

Wrote down a list today of what I learned from your life
Like to put a smile through the pain even through the trials
But I can’t see you all the time, further by the miles
Cause I don’t know what I’d do without you

Your love lives on in me
Your love has taught me
To love, all that I see
I’m so glad to know you
Cause you’re a beauty

You know all the things to say when I’m feeling down
And the warmth of your embrace, your love it surrounds
I know you care and you’ll always be there
Cause I don’t know what I’d do without you

A friend to all, a mother for sure
A woman you can turn to
I know I can count on you
